Hello, from The Concrete Shamans. We are a married male couple that has been making music together since 2020. We began as a rough and raw synthpop and synthwave act, launching our first song “MULTIVERSE” in May 2023. Our early work was weird, quirky, and experimental — mashing up genres with raps, crunchy guitars, and poetic songwriting that explored themes of trauma, conspiracy theories, aliens, and childhood wounds.

This site serves as a dedicated home for our work as The Concrete Shamans, particularly the evolution that came when we integrated AI into our music and visual production. After releasing several traditional albums, we turned to AI to achieve a more professional, studio-level sound. The result felt like a natural extension of our original voice — only with richer vocals and more immersive production.
Our work lives at the intersection of LGBTQ+ art and queer storytelling. While deeply rooted in the gay male experience, we frame it within broader queer and LGBTQ+ conversations because innovative art that celebrates male bodies, desire, and unashamed masculinity often challenges existing systems. Platforms and algorithms frequently struggle with content that doesn’t fit neat categories — treating thoughtful eroticism as something more explicit than it is. Our videos and films contain artistic nudity and sensual themes comparable to what you might see in an R-rated movie or contemporary art installation. This is adult art, not pornography. It is created for grown men seeking honest reflection on masculinity, shame, and sexual freedom.
We empower men to overcome masculine shame — the cultural conditioning that polices male bodies, creative energy, and natural sexuality. Our pieces proudly feature confident men secure in their maleness, exposing myths about what it means to be a man today. In a world that still denigrates male desire, this work can feel subversive. That boundary-pushing spirit is part of why we built our own independent platform — to share these stories freely, without external restrictions.
The CONCRETE SHAMANS Music

We chose to include music and videos from our album SO YOU WANT TO BE ENLIGHTENED? because it is really a precursor to the current work. To become a man, one must go through intense trials and learn tough lessons. In videos like SO YOU WANT TO BE ENLIGHTENED? and NO ONE EXISTS BUT YOU, we make music about the period in a man’s life where things stop making sense but they start getting REAL.
These songs and videos provide the necessary context for the more erotic work and they are included here for those interested in artistic evolution and to document our early experiments with AI video production.
We plan to make videos for the songs on this album but with an erotic aesthetic since we have discovered that powerful life lessons go down easier when a man is slightly turned on.

After the sonic success of SO YOU WANT TO BE ENLIGHTENED, we decided to explore our own sexual reawakenings in the album MASC. For this album we chose to lean into masculinity and sexuality and our confidence in using AI to enhance our songs is higher. In songs like ENERGY and MASC, we encourage men to find their own masculinity that is buried under layers of shame and resentment.
B8 was an early success on YouTube and was viewed thousands of times and brought lots of new fans to The Concrete Shamans. Songs like BROJOB and PROJECTION were accompanied by really artistic and striking music videos. As an aside here, in April, many of our videos were flagged on YouTube due to violating policies and every one that was flagged was then approved by a human reviewer. The exception was PROJECTION which was ironic given the subject matter of the song. In the song, we clearly state that if you see something wrong or dirty in this video, that rests squarely on your shoulders. However, the point of the art was lost on the viewer and they could only see the sex and violence.
We made our first full-length film MASC MANIFESTO which stands as the first feature-length gay film to use AI in the production. It contains a mix of real and AI generated footage and takes viewers on a journey into our own masculine and sexual awakenings. As The Concrete Shamans, we are a married male couple and we were able to support each other through a really difficult time. And we are so grateful to be able to share what we learned with other men through art and music.

We began work on what would become BATE FUEL in late February 2026 by conceiving of a remix collection of songs from MASC. We created a few new tracks but they were sonically separate from the songs on MASC and felt an entire album of “bate music” would be more fun to make.
We launched the album on April 3, 2026 with an accompanying film BATE FUEL: THE MOVIE that leaned heavily into the beefcake magazine aesthetic presented almost entirely in black and white with a prologue explaining the concept and vibe of the album. This film was followed by BATE FUEL: BACK ISSUES which contained more explicit versions of the videos along with some bonus tracks from the deluxe version of the album. The album was extremely well-received and gave us our biggest sales and streams of any work we had created thus far.
Because of it, our private men’s only Discord server attracted over 3,000 men in the month of May where we processed 1,700 applications in one weekend. It was, and continues to be a huge success for us, but also for the men who found value in the work we do and how it helps all men release shame and toxic energy from their bodies and minds. For all the new fans of The Concrete Shamans, this work was their entry point into our other work.

Like with MASC, we produced music videos for each of the songs on the album and the bonus tracks. On June 19, 2026 BATE FUEL DX was released along with an accompanying film BATE FUEL DX that contained all 21 original songs remixed and rearranged from the main album version. Extra remixes and alternate versions bring the total track number to 24.
Now, with our own dedicated platform, we are free to create without limits. We will keep making music, films, and visual art that explore maleness, masculinity, and the beautiful complexity of men’s sexuality. This is art for adults — created with care, intention, and a deep love for the brotherhood.
WHY AI CHANGED EVERYTHING
None of this should have been possible. Ideas like ours would have been shot down immediately by any studio or label. No one was going to give us the budget to make highly erotic and empowering music videos that celebrate masculine men in this way. If we had known all the challenges ahead, just from making this type of art, we sometimes wonder if we would have even started. The platform restrictions, the weird algorithm shutdowns, the sacrifices. It has not been easy.
Yet AI let us fully realize a vision that would have been crazy to produce in the real world. We could create the exact scenes, the exact energy, and the exact stories we wanted without waiting for permission or impossible funding. That freedom turned out to be the real gift.
And while the audience for this type of work might be small, the rewards are great for the men who discover it.
