BATE FUEL DX is a sonic and visual experience containing 21 tracks from the album BATE FUEL DX and some new surprises. As an innovative experimental art film in the genre of gay films and movies, it tells the story of a group of guys who got together to make a magazine about men for men. It is a relentlessly erotic experience that doesn’t let up until the final frame. It’s an homage to nostalgic beefcake magazines and a love letter to the old days of MTV. It imagines a world where music videos featuring male nudity are no big deal.
With footage created by AI and then expertly edited, no shot lingers for more than a few seconds. It demands a lot from the viewer just as much as it gives. As a testament to what AI technology can do for male erotica, BATE FUEL DX has it’s eyes on the past while looking towards the future. Like our previous film MASC MANIFESTO, (which was the very first full length gay film created with AI technology), we use AI to create something that could not be created. It would be impossible to raise the budget to make a film like this for real.
The creators of this film have real world experience in making music and male erotica working with human musicians, actors and models. We chose to see what this technology could do in the hands of artists.
